Tierah is a lawyer in our Wills and Estates team, having joined us in April 2024. With four years of experience practising exclusively in Wills and Estates, particularly in Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Tierah brings valuable knowledge and experience to her role.

Admitted as a lawyer in 2019 after completing her law degree at the University of New England in Armidale, Tierah discovered her passion for assisting clients in Wills and Estates matters early in her career.

Tierah is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive legal advice, especially during challenging or overwhelming times. Her empathetic nature allows her to connect deeply with clients, understanding their unique situations, goals, and expectations to tailor solutions and advice accordingly. Areas of Expertise:

Planning and drafting of Wills
General and Enduring Powers of Attorney
Complex estate planning, including succession of family trusts, corporate entities, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), establishing testamentary discretionary trusts, asset and wealth protection strategies and protective and special trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries
Deceased estate administration, including Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, for both testate and intestate (i.e. where there is no Will) estates
Advance Health Directives, end-of-life and advance care planning
Advising attorneys and alternative decision-makers
Representing executors, trustees and beneficiaries (including charitable organisations) in relation to their rights and obligations throughout the deceased estate administration process

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Laws, University of New England, Armidale
