Kelly joined the firm in 2004 as an articled clerk and qualified as a solicitor in January 2007. Previously Kelly worked in London for six years at Ashurst for a partner in the litigation department, and subsequently when he became the managing partner. Prior to that Kelly worked for a law firm in Albury. Kelly has a range of experience but works primarily in the areas of succession planning, estate administration and commercial litigation.

Claims for damages for breach of contract and/or fiduciary duties in the Supreme Court.
Acting for landlords regarding disputes with tenants including terminations of leases.
Corporate insolvency proceedings including winding up proceedings.
Appeals to Planning and Environment Court.

Commercial and residential building disputes.

Succession planning and estate administration

Preparation of wills including estate planning for clients with commercial interests.
Establishment of testamentary trusts.
Preparation of Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Directives.
Administration of deceased estates, ranging from low to high in value.

Kelly also has experience with commercial and residential sales and purchases,
commercial leases, personal injury matters and criminal law.
