Ian joined the firm in April 2006 as a consultant. He has been a partner in the law firms of Robertson McPherson, Steindl Robertson McPherson and Thompson Hannann and is also a Notary Public and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Areas of expertise and experience

• Specialising in banking and finance; clients include Citibank and Credit Unions.
• Superannuation. Ian was formerly a director of a Public Offer Superannuation Fund with assets under management of $60,000,000 plus.
• Business and property acquisitions’ structuring, both partnership and corporate. Acted for Israeli clients regarding licence agreements to use technology in Australia.
• Estate planning, estate administration, succession planning and elder law specialising
  in the use of testamentary trusts and inter vivos trusts.
• Commercial leasing and commercial property acquisitions. Acts for numerous clients
  providing services in respect to leasing both on behalf of landlords and tenants.
