Bill established William R Wilson & Associates in 1981 at Moorooka and commenced the development of this suburban-based general legal practice. During this period Bill practised in many areas of law but with the growth of the firm began to concentrate on property and commercial transactions.

With the expansion of the practice and the progression to more commercially orientated legal work, a decision was taken in 2004 to relocate the firm to Woolloongabba under the new name of Wilson Lawyers.

Acting in the acquisition and development of a major regional retail shopping centre including all associated retail leasing.
Acting for developer of new multi-level high-rise building at Kangaroo Point

Commercial - Director of and legal counsel for a bid company in a successful $200m scheme takeover of a public company.

Acting in the sale of a well established Brisbane based industrial and commercial agency.

Extensive experience acting in the structuring, sale and purchase of large national and State-based childcare businesses, as well as representing small operators, including acting in the sale of a large portfolio of childcare centres to a national company.

Acting in the sale of national air compressor business.

Negotiating and documenting contract for the construction of a super yacht in Dubai, including direct contact with the Arab based boat building company.
